Dr. Lodewijk Van Wynsberge graduated with honors as a medical doctor in 2000 from KU Leuven.

He completed his specialist training in general surgery at UZ Leuven, followed by urology training in Germany, where he obtained his Facharzt in Baden-Württemberg. He further specialised in urological tumour surgery.

After his training, he worked for one year as a staff member of the Urology Department at UZ Leuven. Since 2010, he has been co-founder of the Urology Association Hageland, affiliated with AZ Tienen, MC Aarschot, AZ Diest, Life Expert Centre and Jodoigne.

In addition to general urology, his areas of expertise include preventive cancer screening, including prostate and bladder cancer, as well as the surgical and medical treatment of urological tumours and second-opinion uro-oncology.

He consults patients in Dutch, English, German and French.
