Dr Sylvie Gordts is specialised in fertility treatments such as hormonal stimulation, inseminations, IVF, ICSI and PGT, use of donor material. She has a special interest in preimplantation genetic diagnostics, transvaginal hydrolaparoscopy or THL, hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery.

Dr Sylvie Gordts graduated from KU Leuven, as a doctor in 1998 and as a gynaecologist in 2003. In 2003, she joined the team at LIFE (Leuven Institute for Fertility and Embryology For several years. Dr Sylvie Gordts is specialised in fertility treatments such as hormonal stimulation, inseminations, IVF, ICSI and PGT, use of donor material. She has a special interest in preimplantation genetic diagnostics, transvaginal hydrolaparoscopy or THL, hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery. She has been providing training in these surgical techniques, this within the training programme of ESGE (European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy). Since 2018, She has been Head of the LIFE fertility centre at the Heilig Hart Regional Hospital in Leuven.
