Dr Sebastian Vandenbroeck 

Dr Vandenbroeck graduated summa cum laude (with highest distinction) from KU Leuven in 2017. During his specialist training as a ENT-, Head and Neck Surgeon, he worked at UZ Leuven, AZ Delta and AZ Sint-Jan Brugge with an important focus on functional and aesthetic facial and nasal surgery. After his studies, Dr Vandenbroeck undertook additional training for subspecialisation through the recognised fellowship in facial plastic surgery at Radboud University Centre, where he refined his skills under the guidance of experts in the field. Internationally, he gained experience through an internship abroad at the University of Oxford during his training, as well as numerous courses and conferences in the field scattered around the world. He successfully passed the exam of the "European Board for Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery," achieving the highest score of the European cohort. His particular interests lie in functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty, facial surgery, facial paralysis repair surgery and reconstruction of oncological facial skin defects. Eyelid corrections are performed with an eye for detail, for which he also works at the specialised Dutch eyelid clinic Eyelift.nl. He focuses on the latest techniques of "Preservation Rhinoplasty" and the use of the minimally invasive ultrasonic Piezotome in nasal surgery (ultrasonic rhinoplasty). Using pre-operative imaging, a detailed 3D simulation of the expected result (morphing) can be made. Dr Vandenbroeck is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, B-Facial, and the Royal Belgian Society for ORL, Facial and Neck Surgery. He was a guest lecturer at Vives College (pathology of the head and neck region) and stays up-to-date through regular international refresher courses and contacts with leading colleagues in the field. He has published several international scientific articles and is involved within the editorial board of the journal "Journal of Advanced Plastic Surgery Research
